Oh man, I’ve had last week off work and I worked really hard on a new layout for elucidation art, but you know what!!! I don’t like it now. it took me ages to decided on a design idea I was going to go with a cross over of True Blood and Ats because lets face it True Blood has lots of BtVS and AtS links, biggest one being gorgeous blonde human, and gorgeous brunette vampire so I took those two from each of the shows, Sookie and Angel, they make a really nice couple. But I’m not sure on the design, I think the only way to go is to create a new one and just create the Sookie and Angel background I was using as a wallpaper for the gallery.

Don’t you just hate it when you work so long on something you really like and then you look at it too long you begin to not like it even before you’ve finished the damn thing lol.

I know what you mean, between working on art for the battle and trying to make web layouts, I dont really like anything I create lately. :(

I know the feeling. I hate the process of coding the site because I always end up annoyed with the design and feeling repelled by it even before it goes online, or just in time for clicking the “live” button. I usually end up plotting the new layout minutes after the other one’s gone online, which annoys me to no end because I put down sooo much work every time I change layout (esp. seeing as I rarely do it these days *shrug*). I have a new design for Chosen Art lying around that I’ve finished but I can’t convince myself to start coding it and put it online.. I just can’t really be bothered, which irritates me at the same time because in the end I WANT it online *mumbles* such a double edge sword situation! ;)

Btw, I’m very envious of you and your build of the site. It’s so sorted and purty. Very annoying *lol* ;D

At least you get to the stage of setting it live, I’ve had three or four layouts I’ve trashed at the design stage let alone getting to the html and php stage lol. but I’ve finally done it with my new design, just need to go through all affiliates now and email the people who think I died or something and ask them if they wanna be affiliates again lol.
